Abstract:
Continues in Milan, Istituto Don Calabria, the “integrated approach to rehabilitation and improvement of the quality of life in Rett Syndrome” started in March 2011 through the call for projects to assist the Mariani Foundation and in collaboration with AIRETT. The project envisages an integrated rehabilitation assessment (motor aspects, interpersonal, communication and learning) of 36 girls, in the presence of family and professionals in the territory of belonging, by a dedicated team of professionals. By the end of September 2011, we completed the first cycle of evaluation and we are now reviewing the girls for the first of two checks provided for in the two-year duration of the project.
